ON THE WATER, THE NAM OU
Don't leave our Lodge without taking the cruise on the Nam Ou.
Between Muang Khua and Nong Khiaw, a beautiful route to the Mekong and the sacred city of Luang Prabang. Your private motorboat takes you along an historical axis once used by the Laos to venture north and join the Muangs.

The River Nam Ou is considered one of the most beautiful rivers in the country and offers amazing vistas along its course – limestone cliffs, remote jungle, fishermen, sleepy hamlets and even people panning for gold. A pleasant picnic lunch is served on one of the sandy banks of the river. An unforgettable experience in a stunning part of SE Asia.
We arrange the most memorable days for you after listening to your wishes. Subject to the weather conditions, the season and any local festivals.
Includes: Transfers by 4×4, a local English-speaking guide, any entrance fees, a picnic lunch prepared by our chefs (where indicated).

As we all have our individual preferences, all our activities are organised on a private basis, i.e. they are not “join-in” excursions.
